SHADES OF EARTH

“ I really wanted to take an aerial shot for a very long time, cause i really love them.
They're always so colorful and full of interesting patterns. I worked the shot a bit in Photoshop the bring out the colors even more, cause it was a bit foggy so i lost some details in the original shot. Anyway, the idea with this shot was to show people how amazingly beautiful the world looks from above.
Cause I think that often when people fly, they don't bother to look out the window (even if I always do that), and they don't know what they're missing.”
ORGY IN SHAPES

“ This is a shot of Knutpunkten, the train-, bus- and ferry station in my town, Helsingborg.
It's really a rather dirty place and it doesn't look special or nice at all at first sight. But I've always liked the shapes and lines in this building, especially in the ceiling.
So I wanted to look beyond the dirty and ugly look of the building, and bring out the beauty of the architecture. I tilted the camera a bit the give the picture more depth and a little more futuristic look.
I also made the photo pretty bright to make it look cleaner. I really didn't have any special feeling I wanted to bring out in this shot, only that you can make ugly things look beautiful, if you have the creativity. ”
BREAKING WAVES

“ This shot was taken at the local beach in my town. The sky was really awesome that evening. The clouds had very strange formations and the sumbeams lit through the clouds just above Denmark.
I waited a really long time for such a beautiful sky as this. So I sat down in the sand and took the shot at the same time a wave broke against the beach. This was a shot where I wanted to capture the water and the sky when they were at their best. ”
FURROWED

“ I really like how this shot came out. Me and two friends went down to the beach to take some shots. When we got there, we saw that the water had created very smooth and beautiful furrows in the sand.
I asked my friend to model for me, then I sat up the composition with the rock in the lower right corner and my friend in the top left. I always thought that water, and the things it can create, are very interesting. Like these furrows. The shapes and lines in the sand together with the low evening sun, created some beautiful shadows too. ”
IN THE FIELD

“ This shot is taken the day before Breaking Waves, and the sky was really beautiful that day too. The clouds were very high and had gorgeous colors, because of the setting sun.
I went out in the field a bit from my house, then I crouched to give the shot a low angle to create a somewhat sneaky feeling to, as someone is trying to hide. The crop also had a very beautiful golden yellow color. ”
CONTRARY TO REALITY

“ Taken a crisp day in early spring. I really liked the way this fence looked like, especially the gate. I knew how the finished version of this one was going to look like at the same moment i shot it. I had it all in my head. I wanted to give this a dreamy, yet mystical look.
I chosed this angle to bring out the path, cause I think it's a really important addition to the shot. ”
