LAYER ATTITUDE : gfx magazine

It’s the start of the new term and it’s with pleasure that we are back together for the sequel of the adventures of Layer Attitude, the third of this name.

A «start of the new term magazine» with it’s loads of habits and new things always constructed by our team, more motivated than ever… Nice perspectives are in front of us with this new issue which announce some changes for the month of november, if everything is going well until this date!

We’re continuing our trip around the artistic world this month with a taste of the orient in the interview with noah-kh, well-known illustrator with loads of talent. We will expose bliitz, young Sweden photograph armed of a talented sense of the framing, then we will follow step by step the evolution of the wonderful pix art work of drdoom.

Thank you very much for your attention and fidelity that have been prooved with the last issue. Do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to suggest us some ideas of possible content for the next issues of the magazine.

  Very sympathic and graphicly rich flash site. We can discover 9 animations reproducing some office situations that the others make us live sometimes. Smells like it already happened.
  It is funny and deep. With some crazy solutions to test! The naivety of the drawings is all right in the animations, it’s essential. The navigation and the ergonomy are comfortable! We’re never bored!
  And even more interesting, a clip for the sweet song “creep” by radiohead in an acoustic version. Unfortunately it is not accessible for the moment: patience, patience... (I saw it and I can say it is more touching me and deepest than the original video...)

There is the site of a communication agency based in the south of England, the feet in the water. A clean and simple site, hiding loads of graphic treasures. We can notice a good utilisation of the frames and scrolls.
Do not hesitate to look at their portfolio filled of creativity with customers like Marks Spencers, Nike, Diesel and a first page for the “Computer Arts” magazine. In clear, we’re in front of very talented guys!!

  He’s named Greg Washington, he’s designer in Toronto. He likes Flash and his scanner... we can see it quickly.
  The navigation is simple and precise. His “character” is evoluting with the moves and the clicks of your mouse, which is perturbating. If you ever lived the traumatising experience to feel that the portrait of a sad clown is watching you, you’ll not be disappointed by Greg’s face.
  His portfolio is rich and varied but I like even more his site’s ergonomies in flash. After it, you’ll want to do actionscript.
  You can leave him a message, it’s pleasant and he deserves it.
